Meredith is a consultant with the Education Policy and Learning team at the GPE Secretariat working on education in crisis and conflict situations. As a former teacher, she has worked with students from pre-primary to higher education in the United States, Turkey, and Mali. She has also worked on refugee education policy at OECD and UNESCO IIEP. Currently a doctoral candidate in lifelong learning at Pennsylvania State University, she is researching the career bridging of refugee teachers in the United States. Meredith holds a Master of Arts from Columbia University Teachers College and a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University.
