Anne Guison Dowdy

Prior to joining the GPE Secretariat, Anne Guison-Dowdy worked at Higher Education for Development and the GED Testing Service in varied monitoring, evaluation, and research capacities. In particular, she helped design M&E systems and theories of change, wrote research papers and contributed to the agencies’ annual performance reports. Anne started her career as a teacher in France, where she was also actively engaged in a number of educational nonprofits for hospitalized and orphaned children, as well as youth in underserved areas. She received her master’s degrees from the Institut d’Études du Développement Économique et Social at the Sorbonne in Paris, and the Institut de Recherche en Économie de l'Éducation in Dijon, France.
