Ms. Hiba Mohamed works for the Global Partnership for Education as a GPE-AU liaison consultant. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Rights from Addis Ababa University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Communications and Media Management from University of South Australia.

Hiba brings extensive knowledge in gender analysis, external relations and public information, advocacy and capacity building which she acquired from previous experience from the UN Women Ethiopia country office since 2017, United Nations High Commissioner for refugees (UNHCR), Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the African Union Commission (AUC).

She also has expertise in the implementation of interventions related to the prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), community safety and access to justice, as well as implementing organizational communications strategies to meet objectives and targeted audience.
