Booyoung Ko, an Evaluation Consultant, joined the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) Secretariat in February 2022. She supported independent evaluations including on the Multiplier mechanism, GPE’s COVID-19 response, and GPE's operating model, strategy support and results at the country level.

Booyoung’s passion for education led her to take on a variety of roles in South Korea, Singapore, and Thailand, from primary to higher education, including teaching, curriculum design and pedagogical support.

Prior to joining GPE, she was a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, supporting the Girls’ Right to Education Program at UNESCO Islamabad Office in Pakistan. She holds a master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology from Nanyang Technological University.
