Dr. Fumiyo Kagawa is Research Director of Sustainability Frontiers, UK. Her expertise includes holistic and transformative education theory and practice concerning climate change, disaster risk reduction, resilience building, peace building, sustainability and the rights of the child. She has extensive experience in curriculum and pedagogical innovations as well as conducting sector-wide educational research. Her most recent work includes conducting a regional study of impacts of and responses to climate change across education systems in South Asia on behalf of UNICEF Regional Office for South Asia.
