Ketan Verma

Ketan is a practice-led researcher experienced in designing and implementing education measurement projects for government, international and national civil society organizations and multilateral and bilateral agencies. Currently, Ketan heads Assessment and Research programs at the People’s Action for Learning (PAL) Network. He is the Lead for PAL Network’s flagship ICAN (International Common Assessment of Numeracy) and Common Reading Assessment projects across 14 countries in Africa, America and Asia. He is also a Taskforce Member for UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS)-Global Alliance to Monitor Learning (GAML) for Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4.6.1. Prior to this, Ketan was the Head of Assessment Unit at Pratham’s ASER Center in India where he was on the core team for the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) survey.
