Since February 2019 Kristian Weise is Secretary General of Oxfam IBIS. He came from the position of Director at Cevea (an independent centre-left think tank in Denmark) - a position he had for eight years. Kristian Weise has a graduate degree in political sociology from London School of Economics and a degree in Economy and Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School. He is well known as a participant in the public debate. Earlier on Kristian Weise was leader of the secretariat of the Danish Social Democrats in the European Parliament and later political advisor for former Danish Prime Minister Poul Nyrup Rasmussen during his time as MEP.
