Mazoughou Goepogui

Mazoughou graduated from University Gamal Abdel Nasser of Conakry in Solid Body Physics at the Faculty of Science in 2007. Since then, he has been teaching digital electronics and industrial computing courses at the Mamou Higher Institute of Technology and other universities in the country including Kofi Annan, UNC, King Mohamed VI, UNIC, la Source, and the two public and private universities of N'Zérékoré in Guinea.

Appointed head of department at the Mamou Higher Institute of Technology from 2018 - 2019 given his occupations, Mazoughou is also the founder of Magoé Technologie—a computer and telecommunications technologies company. It is in this context that with his team, they developed an educational application called Magoé Education; an application that automates the educational management of any school and university.

With this application, the company has been:

  • 3rd winner of the Innovating Education in Africa competition, 2022 edition, organized by the African Union in Tunis from 09 to 11 November 2022
  • 2nd winner of the Innovation Day competition of the digital week
  • 3rd winner of the Orange Prize for Social Entrepreneurship in 2018.
