Juanita Penuela is a program manager at the Education Outcomes Fund (EOF), leading the implementation of the Sierra Leone Education Innovation Challenge (SLEIC) and providing technical support to EOF’s other programs focused on quality in basic education, skills for employment and early childhood care and education.

Juanita has over six years of experience working in the results-based financing space. Prior to joining EOF, she worked at Instiglio designing innovative financing instruments in several countries in Latin America (LATAM), Africa, and Asia. Juanita holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Universidad de Los Andes where she also pursued a minor in law.
