Rachita Daga

Rachita Daga is an Economist with experience in the financial sector, private sector development and education. Currently, Rachita is with the Strategy team at the IFC, working on country and regional strategies, and diagnostic studies to develop private sector investments in finance, health and education. Prior to this, Rachita was a consultant at Oxford Policy Management, where she focused on evaluating education programmes in Nigeria, educational inequality and private provision of education. Rachita has also worked with the ILO, focusing on peer-to-peer learning, skills development, and private sector, and with the Brookings institution on Natural Resource Management. Rachita has a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Oxford, where her thesis focused on the impact of family networks on education outcomes, and its policy implications. Rachita also has a Bachelors degree in Economics, with a minor in Mathematics and Statistics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
