Ian Attfield is DFID Tanzania’s Senior Education Advisor, based in Dar es Salaam since 2012. His role is to oversee DFID’s education program coordination and management, including acting as the GPE Coordinating Agency. He has worked in Nigeria and Zimbabwe for DFID, prior to that he was a freelance consultant and adviser, working on education programs in African and Asia with a focus on planning, management, data systems and mapping.
