Qatar and GPE
Since 2012, Education Above All (EAA) and GPE have jointly supported a number of projects in Chad, Comoros, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Yemen to enroll over 2.7 million out-of-school children into quality primary education.
In March 2022, Education Above All and the Qatar Fund for Development joined forces with GPE to help provide equitable, inclusive and quality education for millions of out-of-school children around the world and GPE welcomed the first ever $20 million contribution from the Qatar Fund For Development through EAA.
Building on a long tradition of generosity, the new pledge from the State of Qatar through Education Above All exemplifies growing regional leadership on global education efforts.
