The Global Partnership for Education (GPE) is pleased to welcome Kenyan media personality Janet Mbugua as its new champion.

For many years, Janet has been a strong advocate for girls and women’s rights, including through the Inua Dada Foundation that she created. The foundation focuses on menstrual health management and supports women and girls by providing psychological support, access to information, and products for menstrual hygiene.

As a GPE champion, Janet will support GPE’s work and priorities in various forums and events, with an emphasis on access to quality education for all girls and boys and on promoting gender equality through education.
