Christine Hogan, former Deputy Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Canada, begins today her term as GPE vice chair. Her appointment was announced in June following the Board of Directors’ decision.
Throughout a public service career that spans more than 30 years, Christine Hogan has represented Canada in numerous international fora and contributed to a wide range of public policy issues including foreign policy, international development, trade policy, science and technology, sustainability, and climate change.
In her role as vice chair, she will assist the GPE Chair in fulfilling his duties to manage the affairs of the Board, represent GPE in high-level public engagements and maintain communication with Board members, the GPE CEO, and other key stakeholders.
