Shahnoz Valijonbekova

Shahnoz Valijonbekova has worked in the education sector since 2010. She was a secondary teacher and teacher trainer with Aga Khan Education Services. From 2015 she served as Education officer and from 2017 as Education Specialist with UNICEF, Tajikistan. She coordinated UNICEF’s Access and Inclusive Education Program, was responsible for overall system coordination, sector policy and planning, as well as managed ISDB and GPE funded projects. She holds a Master of Arts in Education and Master’s in Teaching from Institute of Education, University of London.

She joined ISDB team as a consultant during the design of SmartED Uzbekistan and is currently holding a staff consultant position with the Regional Hub of Almaty responsible for supporting implementation of SmartEd projects in the Central Asian Region.
