Ruchi Kulbir Singh

Ruchi Singh works as a Disability Inclusion Specialist at the Social Sustainability and Inclusion Global Practice at the World Bank. She has over 12 years of experience in leading and supporting teams across South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa in disability-inclusive development.

At the World Bank, Ruchi provides strategic analytical, advisory and program management support for two trust funds on disability-inclusive education, including the technical lead for all grants and country operations.

Before joining the World Bank, Ruchi worked at the Global Partnership for Education (GPE), supporting the expansion of the portfolio on equity and inclusion. Ruchi has led the development of evidence-based innovative learning tools, using low-cost technology to reach out to the hardest-to-reach and digital technologies for education to promote learning outcomes. She also led research for Sesame Street's initiatives across India, leveraging the power of Sesame Street Muppets to reach out to children facing tough challenges.

Ruchi was the 2016 Joseph P. Kennedy International Public Policy Fellow and holds Executive Leadership training from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. She holds a master’s degree in Global Health and Development from University College London, a post-graduate degree in Special Education from the University of Delhi and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi.
