Rona Bronwin

Rona Bronwin is an Education Adviser for the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), previously Department for International Development (DFID). She joined DFID’s Education Research Team before moving to Ethiopia to work on the UK support to the Government of Ethiopia’s education reforms.

Previously, Rona worked as a primary teacher in London at an outstanding multicultural three-form-entry primary school, including additional roles as team leader, teacher training and in senior leadership. While teaching, Rona completed her Master’s in Education, Gender and International Development at the Institute of Education, University College London (UCL). Rona has worked closely with schools and teachers in the UK, Ethiopia, Ghana, Uganda, Kenya and India.

Rona now works in FCDO’s Girls’ Education Department based in London and leads the FCDO policy support to foundational learning globally.
