Oliver Mawhinney
Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser, International Parliamentary Network for Education

Oliver Mawhinney is the Senior Policy & Advocacy Adviser at the International Parliamentary Network for Education (IPNEd).
At IPNEd, Oliver helps to deliver the Network's program of activities and supports IPNEd’s member parliamentarians to grow and deepen their understanding of and commitment to inclusive and equitable quality education.
Oliver works closely with IPNEd’s civil society partners around the world and currently leads the Network’s activities on education financing, education in emergencies and the protection of education from attack. Oliver led IPNEd’s advocacy in the lead up to the Global Education Summit, and is continuing IPNEd’s work on domestic education financing through leading the development of a parliamentary toolkit for domestic education financing.
Before joining the IPNEd Secretariat, Oliver worked as a Parliamentary Research for two members of the UK Parliament.
