Marion Steff

Marion Steff has been the Policy Advisor for Social Inclusion at Sightsavers since January 2012. She develops policy analysis around social inclusion in order to influence key external actors, particularly bilateral and multilateral donors. She works around the post 2015 agenda as well and builds relationships with civil society coalitions such as BOND and International Disability and Development Consortium. She has conducted a study for the World Bank on higher education and disability in Indonesia; worked in the research team of Montreal Rehabilitation Centre and served as the coordinator of the Intellectual Disability, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and Intersectorality research team for few years. Marion also co-managed the Centre for Disabilities Studies and Services at the University Sunan Kalijaga (Indonesia), in partnership with Academics without Borders. Additionally, I was a Disability and Vulnerability Manager for Handicap International Pakistan to support people affected by the floods in 2010 and 2011.
