Kamanda Kamiri

Kamanda Kamiri is the Deputy Country Director in Rwanda, leading Government Strategy, Relationship Management and providing Financial and Operations Oversight. He is passionate about impacting the young generation through quality education in preparation for future opportunities. As a beneficiary of community support for his education, he feels greatly indebted and seeks to give back to the community through supporting Education systems and reforms for the advancement of youth.

He has BBA degree in Finance from School of Finance and Banking, Rwanda and a Masters in Project management from Mount Kenya University. He is also an alumnus of both Global Health Corps Fellowship and Acumen Fund Regional Fellowship. Prior to joining Educate! Kamanda was the Deputy Country Director at Gardens for Health International where he attained deepened experience in HR Management, Operations and Finance, as well as Government Engagement. He created operational systems, HR and Finance Manuals in accordance with the Rwandan labor law, provided oversight of four successful consecutive audits and managed a growing team from 11 to 125 staff in a span of 5 and a half years.
