Jo Walker

Jo Walker is a freelance consultant, specializing in education and domestic financing. She is currently working for the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) on their education financing campaign and supporting engagement and capacity building of CSEF-supported national coalitions. Jo has worked within the education civil society movement, on and off, for more than 15 years, including in South Africa and India, with both GCE and with the Global March for Education. Jo has also worked with both ActionAid and Oxfam in various capacities, with a strong focus on developing campaigning and advocacy capacity in the Global South. Over recent years, Jo has a particular focus on tracking budgets and domestic finance commitments in low- and lower-middle income countries.
