Gerd-Hanne Fosen

Gerd-Hanne Fosen is Policy Director of the Education Section at the Department for Education and Global Health of NORAD. Before that, she was the Director of Education at Save the Children Norway. Prior to joining Save the Children Norway, she served as the Secretary-General for the Norwegian National Commission for UNESCO. She has also worked as a Senior Advisor at the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research where she worked with global education policy issues. Fosen has worked in the field of education and development for most of her professional life. She currently serves as Co-Chair of the International Task Force on Teachers for Education 2030’s Steering Committee, representing Norway.
