Dina Ghobashy

Dina is a director of global education transformation at Microsoft, managing digital transformation strategy for education systems. In her role, she empowers education leaders around the world to innovate education and to educate students for innovation through resources and programs that accelerate sustainable and scalable digital transformation.

Dina is passionate about opening a world of opportunities to all children through education and she sees technology as a catalyst for realizing this vision. Throughout her career, she has been a change leader who managed systemic transformation in settings with varying degrees of complexity.

Prior to Microsoft, she led education transformation as the director of academic innovation at a school system in the US. Prior to that, she advised and supported schools and governments worldwide on transforming education using technology at Intel Corporation.

During the early part of her career at Intel, she developed expertise in various IT (information technology) capacities: agile process improvement and coaching, adult eLearning, change management and software development.

Dina holds dual master’s degrees—one in education from Columbia University and another in computer engineering from West Virginia University.
