Cheryl Ann Fernando is Global Education Technology Lead at Teach for All. In her role, she supports Teach for All’s network partners and alumni to strengthen their work in the ed tech space and ensure strong student outcomes.
Previously, Cheryl was the CEO of PEMIMPIN GSL in Malaysia, an organization focused on providing high quality leadership development for school leaders and teachers in the country. Throughout her tenure as CEO, Cheryl led the development of Malaysia’s first teacher professional development app and the inception of the biggest prize philanthropy in the country through the Malaysia Teacher Prize.
Cheryl was a Teach for Malaysia fellow, teaching in a rural school for three years. She also served in the National Education Policy Review Committee in 2018 and was named as Asia’s Most Influential in Education in 2020 and 2021.
