Akiko Sugai, Project Formulation Advisor, JICA Mongolia Office.
Akiko worked as Project Formulation Advisor (PFA) in charge of Education Sector in the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Mongolia Office until April 2021. In her role as an Advisor, she collaborated with the ministry of Education and Science of Mongolia to ensure continuity of education during the COVID-19 crisis, focusing children with disabilities.
Her background is in supporting children and persons with disabilities as JICA PFA in the Caribbean as well as in East Africa.
