Alice Ching’oma
Education expert, Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office

Alice Ching’oma is an education expert with over two decades of experience in designing and implementing transformative education programs. She has worked in Malawi, Rwanda and internationally with leading organizations such as the World Bank, and Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO), and currently with the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) in Malawi.
Alice has successfully coordinated multi-million-dollar projects focused on foundational learning and skills development. Her expertise includes policy development, stakeholder collaboration and resource mobilization, driving impactful changes in education systems while promoting equity and quality.
She has served as a lead for the Grant Agent and Coordinating Agent roles in FCDO for Global Partnership for Education (GPE) in Rwanda and Malawi respectively.
Alice holds an MSc in Managing Rural Change from Imperial College, University of London.
