Audrey Adhiambo

Audrey Adhiambo is the Youth Coordinator at Collaborative Centre for Gender and Development (CCGD). She is also an active member of the Network of African Women in Conflict Prevention and Mediation (FemWise-Africa). Ms Audrey has been trained on mediation, dialogue and negotiation. She is a Young Woman Mediation Ambassador. She is also a certified trainer of trainees on mediation. She holds a Master Degree in International Relations with a focus of Peace and Conflict at the United States International University (USIU-Africa). In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from the University of Nairobi and a Certificate in Spanish from Regional Center for Tourism and Foreign Languages. Ms. Audrey has job shadowed at the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Mediation Support Unit (MSU) in 2018.

She is passionate about women, youth, peace and security. She has contributed to the global policy paper titled “We are here-” as well as the publication of a research paper titled “The Role of Climate Change in Conflicts in Africa”.
