Finland and GPE
Finland is a longstanding member of GPE, having joined the partnership in 2013.
To date, Finland has contributed more than US$39 million to the GPE fund. At GPE’s 4th replenishment, Finland pledged €25 million for the period 2021–2025.
Besides its financial contribution to the GPE Fund, Finland is member of the Global Reference Group on Technology for Education (Tech4Ed) founded by GPE. The main objective of the group is to strengthen capacity of partner countries to use technology to improve education access and learning outcome for children.
The Tech4ed reference group provides technical, policy and cross sectoral assistance for partner countries embedding or scaling technology into their education systems.
