Aneyn is an education researcher currently consulting for GPE on publications and blogs. Her research focuses on social-emotional learning and interventions, specifically the development of emotion understanding and its links to social skill and language in middle childhood as a period leading into adolescence.

A background in psychology and linguistics, she has received a PhD in Education and an Msc in Child Development and Education from the University of Oxford Department of Education.

Prior to pursuing graduate school in the United Kingdom, Aneyn was an Americorps VISTA Program Associate for Community Schools at the New York City Department of Education.
