Aisha Cooper Bruce Is the Executive Director at Helping Our People Excel (H.O.P.E.), Inc., is an advocate for women and children, with 20 years’ experience in Youth and Leadership Development, Sexual Reproductive Health and rights issues, Advocacy, Movement Building and Gender-Sensitive Active Non-Violence, and Behavior Change Communication. For more than 10 years, she has work diligently to improve the health and rights of Liberian children. She has spoken on many international and national platforms, including UN 60th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women and has written several articles/blogs for the Huffington Post, UN Foundation, and other media outlets and she was the co-launcher, of the I am a Liberia, Not a Virus global social media campaign that addressed the world-wide stigmatization of Liberians and those affected by Ebola.
