Laura Abadia

Laura Abadia joined the OECD Development Center as Policy Analyst to coordinate the Education and Health work of the OECD Network of Foundations Working for Development (netFWD). She also works with the Development Center’s Gender Unit to conceive and deploy a novel study that looks at the correlation between discriminatory gender norms and girls’ educational outcomes in sub-Saharan Africa.

Prior to joining OECD, Laura held various policy, coordination and consulting roles with prestigious agencies including J-PAL Europe, the Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab, the French Ministry of Health, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others. Laura holds an MSc in Political Economy from the London School of Economics and is also a graduate of Sciences-Po Paris.
