The three-day meeting will bring together partner country focal points from the ministries of education from Albania, Algeria, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Lebanon, Moldova, Morocco, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, West Bank and Gaza, and Yemen.

Organized by the GPE Secretariat, the regional meeting helps participants learn how GPE tools and mechanisms can help support countries in achieving education system transformation.

The meeting also provides an opportunity to inform participants about GPE policies, and to share experiences and challenges that partners face within the education sector.

Meeting objectives:

  • Support stronger partner country engagement in GPE’s governance processes
  • Improve consultation and coordination between and within constituency members
  • Share information on GPE operational model, policies, goals and objectives
  • Provide opportunities for peer learning and experience sharing.
