Toolbox for cross-country exchange on joint sector reviews
April 12, 2019
The toolbox for facilitating cross-country knowledge exchange and peer learning helps facilitate the organization of cross-country exchange and peer learning, using the five dimensions for an effective joint sector review as an analytical lens. The tools have been conceived to help ensure a structured and focused approach in the exchange of experiences.
The toolbox includes:
- A preparatory reading guide for participants who are going to observe a JSR in a partner country
- An observation grid for observing JSR practices in a comparative perspective
- A daily debriefing session guide to facilitate the discussions during JSR cross-country exchange
- An improvement agenda template for outlining key follow-up actions in participants’ individual countries, based on lessons learned through the exchange.
It is recommended to read through the practical guide for effective joint sector reviews as a general introduction before using this toolbox, specifically Chapter 2–JSR effectiveness framework, and the section on cross-country knowledge exchange and peer learning.
