The Board of Directors is the supreme governing body of the Global Partnership for Education (GPE). Through its inclusive membership representing the wider partnership, it ensures that diverse views are represented and can be expressed.

The Board of Directors also reviews performance of key strategic initiatives that are core to those goals, considers the key risks that can derail those goals, and adapts and adjusts its business model and platforms as warranted.

In line with the GPE Charter, it also serves as a global leader, advocate, and convenor for education.
