This is one of five synthesis reports commissioned by GPE KIX to consolidate evidence and lessons learned from applied research projects funded during the program’s first phase, from 2019 to 2024.

This report synthesizes evidence generated from six gender equality–focused applied research projects that were part of that endeavor. While gender equality is a cross cutting theme embedded in all GPE KIX projects, this report specifically highlights findings from six projects in which it was the core focus.
