Drawing on 5-year portfolio-level trends and rapid country-level reviews in six partner countries, including more than 45 stakeholder interviews, this preliminary review provides broad-level and qualitative data on the pandemic's effects on grant operations.

It focuses on the period from March 2020 to May 2021 and seeks to understand how GPE partners have absorbed and adapted to the challenges of this significant, unforeseen disruption.
