The Board of Directors made these decisions at its meeting in Paris on December 5-7, 2017, including approving new grants for Burkina Faso and Zanzibar; allocations from the GPE Multiplier for 7 countries totaling US$67.5 million and bringing in co-financing estimated at close to US$300 million from partners; the advocacy and social accountability (ASA) funding mechanism; the private foundations engagement strategy; and the design of the knowledge and innovation exchange (KIX).
