Sudan's application for US$15 million COVID-19 funding to aid the country to address the immediate effects of the pandemic by supporting continuity of learning now, as well as to prepare for the school system's re-opening once the pandemic has subsided.

In this respect, the project aims to minimize the negative effects of the crisis in both the short and medium-term, there by diminishing any negative developmental impacts.
