Vietnam is one of three countries participating in the piloting of analysis of national learning assessment systems (ANLAS). The purpose of the country’s participation in the piloting exercise was to analyze the entire national learning assessment system, allowing for insight on strategies and policies that may be needed to improve the system.
ANLAS is a key component of GPE’s assessment for learning initiative, aiming to support partner countries to build effective monitoring systems for evidence-based education sector planning. It provided a useful opportunity to undertake a comprehensive review of the different programs that make up Vietnam’s national learning assessment system.
This document highlights the main takeaways and outcomes of this qualitative analysis of the national learning assessment system in Vietnam, as well as aspects of improvement and recommendations.
