Join the July numeracy webinar of the Global Partnership for Education and learn how mathematics contributes to a country’s economic and social growth – and how economists calculate this value.
Dr. Luis Crouch, Chief Technical Officer at the International Development Group of RTI International will examine the importance of mathematics education for development through an economic lens. Evidence on how mathematics education impacts economic and social growth is not as abundant as it is for education in general. Existing evidence confirms, though, that mathematics is an important education investment and has a significant impact on a country’s growth.
