Today's youth grapple with conflicts that disrupt education and stability, and lead to persistent economic inequalities that limit their future prospects. Addressing these challenges is vital to nurture peace, responsible citizenship and sustainable development, leading to a stable and inclusive future.

With the need to create 600 million jobs over the next 15 years and with a youth population increase of 78 million by 2030, education systems face an urgent call to action. Moreover, according to WEF, not closing the global skills gap could cost US$11.5 trillion in global GDP by 2028.

This series explores the dynamic intersection between young people and the evolving job market. It underscores the critical importance of equipping youth with the knowledge and competencies necessary to shape a brighter future for themselves, their communities, and the world.

A quality education will be the bedrock of a skilled workforce ready to tackle the demands of tomorrow and foster long-term economic growth, peace and sustainability.
