Civil society is key to accountability and inclusion within education policy, bringing in evidence and insight from communities that would not have a voice otherwise.

Civic engagement supported through Education Out Loud - GPE’s fund for education advocacy and social accountability managed by Oxfam Denmark - has led to national policy changes around the world that take us closer to equitable education systems.

Funding civil society organizations can lead to locally led innovations that make sure all children have an opportunity to learn.

Through blogs from partner countries, youth leaders and international collaborators, this series is an opportunity to reflect on what education advocacy looks like in the future within the context of conflict and crises, and to celebrate civil society activism for positive change.
