Violence against girls comes in many guises, but two things are clear for this year’s International Day of the Girl: it’s widespread and it must end. Too many girls live in fragile and conflict situations where they are subjected to abuse. It's time to end violence against girls. Alice Albright, Chief Executive Officer of Global Partnership for Education, said that “boys and young men must be engaged” for the situation to change.
