GPE grant of US$100 million helps Uganda strengthen its education system

While at UNGA with President Museveni, First Lady and Minister of education Janet Museveni held a meeting with GPE Chair Julian Gillard to express appreciation for the support Uganda is receiving towards strengthening the country's education system. They discussed the US$100 million GPE grant awarded to Uganda 3 years ago and the possibility to expand the partnership beyond this grant.
