Financing health and education: Giving girls and young women a fair chance

The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, UNAIDS and the Global Partnership for Education cordially invite you to join a discussion co-hosted by the Government of Ethiopia and the United States on the financing of health and education at this critical juncture for development. Countries with more girls who complete secondary school have lower maternal mortality rates, lower rates of HIV/AIDS, and their children have better survival rates and better child nutrition. The event will explore effective and efficient collaboration between the health and education sectors, as well as resource mobilization opportunities for their financing.
