GPE has launched a new e-learning platform that delves into the GPE 2025 strategy and the critical pathway to achieving system transformation in partner countries.

Transforming education systems is a complex endeavor. The GPE 2025 approach supports partner country governments and partners to identify a priority reform that can catalyze change across the education system and align partners and resources, including GPE funding, to implement the reform.

The e-learning platform breaks down the components of GPE’s approach to education system transformation and elaborates on each component through engaging, interactive, and self-paced video sessions.

What’s included

The e-learning series includes 5 modules:

  1. System transformation and an overview of GPE 2025
  2. Enabling factors, which provides in-depth information on the four enabling factors that can support or impede system transformation
  3. GPE 2025 grants, which explains the various GPE financing mechanisms
  4. Partnership compact, which elaborates on the key tool for countries to articulate a priority reform
  5. Gender equality, which offers insights on integrating gender equality through a system transformation pathway.

After completing module 1 on system transformation, users can access the other 4 modules in any order.

Target audience and objectives

The e-learning platform is open to anyone interested in learning about the GPE approach and operating model, especially GPE regional and global levels.

By providing clarity on the roles and responsibilities within the partnership and on the various GPE financing options available to partner countries, this e-learning series is intended to accelerate the implementation of GPE 2025 and set countries on the path to achieving system transformation.

An engaging experience

The e-learning platform is user friendly and engaging. Once users create an account on the platform, they will be able to enroll in a list of courses, currently offered in English and French (Spanish and Arabic will be added in the next few weeks).

Sessions are self-paced, which means users can pause at any time and resume from where they left off. The audiovisual format keeps the content interesting and the interactive elements, including periodic knowledge checks, invite users to engage with the material and reinforce learning. Users can also offer feedback and participate in discussion forums within the platform.

Give it a shot!

We hope you will try out this new offering from GPE and give us feedback on how we can continue to improve this learning tool.
