New $3.8 Million Grant for Djibouti to Support Improved Access to Education

The World Bank Group and the Government of Djibouti signed today a US$3.8 million grant to support the government's access to quality education project. The grant, provided by the Global Partnership for Education, is designed to support government efforts to improve the overall quality and capacity of its education system. The Government of Djibouti prioritizes investment in education, which accounts for more than 10 percent of the national budget.
